I am Hidayet Aydın

I started to meet bees in my childhood. Together with my father, mother and brother, we were walking and caring for the bees. I decided to choose this profession when I was 13 years old, I am 38 years old and I have been working with bees since then. I live in Döğüşbelen neighborhood of Muğla Köyceğiz district and I am the father of a daughter. I am a wandering beekeeper in Turkey and I work with 1060 hives.

Bees are very incredible and hardworking animals. I was always thinking about how I could do my job better, and I'm still the same. My curiosity about bees made me know bees better.

After all, we produce honey, wax, propolis, pollen, perga, which a factory cannot do, and I do it together with bees.

This year we have an estimated 20 tons of honey. 8 tons of sunflower honey that I produce. The quality of honey is very important to me. I use organic medicine for the diseases of bees.

I have a plan to produce 100 tons of honey for the future, I am thinking of producing it with my friends who love their profession.

Our goal is slow and quality growth.

Our Honey Production Method

We carry out the beekeeping profession professionally with the strolling production method. We can harvest honey with different tastes and different characteristics in many regions of our country and deliver it to our consumers.

Honey Types

To understand the importance of this honey, it is necessary to know what kind of nutrient-rich values it has. It is preferred because it does not cause indigestion in the stomach and is less sweet than flower honey. It has been observed that it can be effective in terms of unsettling situations occurring in the digestive system. Although the journey of this honey takes a long time, the benefits of this honey are great. Thanks to the plant sap that passes through many healthy stages, honey extract is obtained and a honey that attracts many people with both its smell and taste is revealed. It is a honey variety that is often preferred especially in European countries. Our country also holds the leadership in the world in the export of this honey.

Honey is a food that bees produce naturally, without which it is impossible to fake. Honey is the result of the processing by bees of the sweet liquid present in plants and expressed in the form of nectar. With its high content of vitamins, minerals and probiotics, it is a complete miracle. It also offers you the nutritional properties of thousands of plants and thousands of flowers. Therefore, it is a product that has been used since ancient civilizations to heal many diseases. Honey production is quite labor-intensive, as well as growing only in natural conditions. On average, 17,000 bees need to pollinate by visiting 10 million flowers to produce 500 grams of honey.

Bee bread, also known as perga; A bee product produced by worker bees by fermenting the pollen collected from flowers with various processes. This product, which is the staple food of queen bees, worker bees and baby bees, is stored by bees in honeycomb eyes. Bee bread, which constitutes the first food of the baby bees that have just emerged from the pupa, can also be called "baby bee food" due to this feature. In addition, experts think that the food referred to in ancient sources as "ambrosia" (food of the gods) due to its unique benefits is bee bread!
